EYELINER TREATMENT CONTRAINDICATIONS

IMPORTANT: I DO NOT DO COLOR CORRECTIONS. EVERY ARTIST WORKS DIFFERENTLY AND USES DIFFERENT PRODUCTS. IF YOU HAVE A TATTOO THAT WENT WRONG OR AN OLD TATTOO PLEASE DO REMOVAL TATTOO FIRST. IF YOUR EYELINER TATTOO IS FADED PLEASE SEND ME A PICTURE BEFORE BOOKING.

Due to possible complications, the effect on the semi-permanent makeup procedure and aesthetic results of treatment, certain diseases and groups of medication are contraindications and in that case, treatments cannot be performed.
​

The Following anomalies have to be medically removed or corrected before treatment:

Skin tags.
​

Age spots.
​

Birthmark in the treatment area.
​

Very deep wrinkles in the treatment area.
​
​
The Following must be completely healed before procedure:​​

Styes.

Eye Inflammation

Contusions and bruises.

Fresh surgical scars.
​

Pustules.
​

Sunburn.
​

Contusions and bruises.

Papules.

Scrapes.
​

Bacterial infection.
​

Wound infection.
​

Inflammatory pimples.

VIRAL INFECTION or Infection Disease: Covid-19, cold, flu, sinusitis or a respiratory infection. Also Hepatitis A, B, and C. Any acute infection, treatment must be postpone.

Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure: High Blood Pressure must be returned to normal. Excessive bleeding is possible for clients with high blood pressure. Please consider that multiple sessions may be needed due to poor pigment retention.​
​

Eyelid Lift: Waiting time minimum 6 months. Dr's letter required.
​

Botox: Waiting time minimum 3 months before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment.
​
​

Pregnancy and Nursing: Treatments are strictly prohibited. Client must wait until delivery and until the mother is no longer nursing.
​

GLAUCOMA (High Eye Pressure): Increased intraocular pressure combined with pressure placed on the eyebrows could be damaging.
​

Blood-related Desease: Where there is a blood clotting disorder. E.g, hemophilia, sickle cell anemia, anemia, platelet disorders, etc.
​

Epilepsy: Treatment could potentially trigger a seizure and medication conflicts the healing process.
​

Diabetes: Person with diabetes are more susceptible to infections and treatment cannot be performed.
​

Skin anomalies, Lumps, Keloids, Melanomas, Tumors.
​

Undergoing Chemotherapy: Chemotherapy affects all tissue in the body and decreases the white blood cell activity, therefore increasing the possibility of infection. In addition, the skin is unable to recover and heal quickly.
​

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV): HIV causes a decline in the activity of the immune system. Since the immune system is weakened, treatment cannot be performed.
​

Artificial Insemination: During the period of artificial insemination or in vivo fertilization, treatment must be avoided until childbirth and until the mother is no longer nursing. ​
​

Thrombophilia: People who suffer from this disease are usually on anticoagulant therapy, so treatment cannot be performed.
​

Autoimmune Diseases: An autoimmune disease is a condition in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the body. There are at least 80 types of autoimmune diseases that are not mentioned in this page. Some common diseases that are generally considered autoimmune include celiac disease, diabetes mellitus, inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases, systemic lupus erythematous, etc. The medication to treat an autoimmune disease results in suppression of the immune system and the risk of developing an infection is significantly increased. Treatment must not be performed.
